HOP THE TROLLEY FOR DERMATOLOGIC SUCCESS…

The 2009 Program Planning Committee has worked hard to prepare a meeting that will appeal to all levels of dermatology nursing. With consideration of members’ comments from past meetings, we have included new topics while repeating sessions that received rave reviews.

Our goal is to provide:

Some of the new sessions added this year provide:

The DNA also offers pre- and post-convention workshops that focus on specific dermatology areas of care in dermatology nursing. These one-day courses are a great way to learn in-depth information on a particular topic of interest. Offered as well is the Dermatology Nursing Certification Review Course for those interested in becoming a certified dermatology nurse. Also watch for the time and date of the certification exams for both RN's and NP’s being offered at the Convention.

The Nurse Practitioner Society will sponsor an always popular two-day workshop for Nurse Practitioners. This forum should be an exciting and jam-packed educational session for the advanced practitioner.

The final day offers several two- hour expanded sessions which include Bullous Diseases - Kisses for Katie, and Atopic Dermatitis - a Panel Discussion. Also, an Advanced Cosmetic Core and Wound Care Workshop will be offered.

The 27th Annual Convention offers something for everyone!

This spectacular event would not be possible without the commitment dedication and energy from the 2009 Program Planning Committee members:
